About the role
Join Sterling™ Manufacturing Company as a Sales Executive in Chhotaudepur, Gujarat, and be the face of Sterling in your local market.
Your job is simple to describe and rewarding to do well: meet dealers and retailers every day, bring new distributors on board, book orders and make sure Sterling LED lights, fans, wires and switchgear are on every counter in your beat. You will work under the guidance of the Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager, who will support you with plans, schemes and market visits.

What you will do
Your day in the field
- Start the day with your beat plan and cover around 5–8 outlets: distributors, dealers, retailers and electricians.
- Check in at every outlet through the Sterling sales CRM app; each visit is saved with date, time and location.
- Take orders, explain new products and schemes, and check stock on the counter.
- Close the day with a short activity report in the app.
Growing the channel
- Find and onboard new distributors and dealers in your beat.
- Target for your first distributor: within 15–30 days if you have done this before, within 90 days if you are new to it.
- Push first billing quickly after every new appointment.
- Add new active retailers every month and revive outlets that have stopped ordering.
Orders, stock and payments
- Follow every order from booking to dispatch and delivery.
- Keep an eye on distributor stock so fast-moving items never run out.
- Collect payments on time and stay within company pricing and credit rules.
Market feedback
- Note competitor prices, schemes and new launches you see in the market.
- Share dealer feedback and complaints with your manager the same day.
- Help with dealer meets, counter branding and product demos in your area.
What we are looking for
Who we are looking for
- 3–9 years of field sales in electrical goods, LED lighting, fans, wires, switchgear, appliances or similar products.
- Has opened or managed distributors and dealers before.
- Knows the Chhotaudepur / Gujarat market; local dealer contacts are a big plus.
- Meets monthly targets consistently.
- Graduate (any stream); MBA in Sales & Marketing is a plus.
- Speaks the local language and Hindi or English comfortably.
What you need to have
- Own smartphone with internet; daily use of the CRM app for check-ins and reports.
- Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
- Basic comfort with WhatsApp, email and MS Excel.
- Willing to travel every day across the beat and nearby towns.

Pay
- 3–5 years experience: ₹3,42,000 – ₹4,27,500 per annum (fixed)
- 5–7 years experience: ₹4,27,500 – ₹5,55,750 per annum (fixed)
- 7–9 years experience: ₹5,55,750 – ₹6,84,000 per annum (fixed)
- Incentive: up to 20% of fixed salary, paid every quarter on target achievement
Final offer depends on experience, current CTC and interview performance.
